Susan Cassels

Susan Cassels’ work spans many disciplines, including demography, epidemiology, and geography. Her research interests are in the areas of population health, migration, epidemic modeling, HIV/AIDS, and sexual networks. Currently, her research focuses on geo-social determinants of health, geographic mobility, sexual health, and HIV transmission. She has ongoing projects on activity spaces and sexual health among sexual minority men in Los Angeles. Cassels’ research has been funded mostly by the National Institutes of Health.
